WAUSAU – The Marathon County Public Library will close its Wausau headquarters and all eight branch libraries at 5 p.m. today, Feb. 7, because of today’s snowstorm.
The Friends of the Marathon County Public Library Book Sale, originally scheduled for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, has also been canceled. The sale will continue as planned on Feb. 8, 9 and 10.
In addition, the monthly meeting of Pokémon Club and the needle arts event, both at the Wausau library, and the DIY decoupage jar event scheduled for today at the Hatley Branch have also been canceled.
Weather permitting, the libraries will resume their normal business hours and reopen on Feb. 8.
