LAKE TOMAHAWK, Wis. — Four people are injured following a three-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Hwy. 47 north of Lake Tomahawk, officials confirmed.

The crash was reported about 3 p.m. on a stretch of highway between Lake Tomahawk and Woodruff. One of the four people injured was airlifted to a hospital for treatment of injuries that appear life-threatening, officials said.

The other three people injured were taken to Howard Young Medical Center – Ascension in Woodruff, officials said.

The names, ages, and current conditions of the crash victims has not yet been released. No additional details were immediately available on Tuesday and investigators have not said what led to the crash.
