WAUSAU — The Wausau RiverWolves of the NA3HL announced this week forward Alex Piotrowski has committed to play Division 1 college hockey at Northern Illinois.
Piotrowski, a native of Green Bay, played in 46 games this past season with the RiverWolves, according to a RiverWolves news release. In those games he recorded 16 points with six goals and 10 assists. He becomes the fourth RiverWolves player to commit to play college hockey in the fall.
“Alex is a player who brings excellent energy to everything he does on the ice and we are looking forward to following his collegiate career as he continues to develop, ” said Head Coach Colin Bailey.
