STEVENS POINT — The education program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has been ranked as second in the nation, according to Study.com.
The site’s Best Colleges for Education Majors list ranked UW-Stevens Point’s education program highly for program outcomes, graduation and retention rates, advising services, student organization opportunities and vast program options, UWSP said in a news release.
“UW-Stevens Point’s School of Education has a passion for excellence,” said Lynda Fernholz, chairwoman of the program, in the release. “Our graduates gain the knowledge and confidence to create classrooms and schools that effectively educate children of all backgrounds and learning needs, for today and for the future. At UW-Stevens Point, we build relationships that last a lifetime.”
UW-Stevens Point offers bachelor’s degrees for education within early childhood, elementary, science, social studies, English, music and other areas, as well as a master’s degree and a doctoral degree in educational sustainability.
