Jeremy Rieman
Jeremy J. Rieman, 47, passed away peacefully early on Tuesday morning of June 25, 2019, with a loving family at their home in Mosinee, WI.
He was born on June 30, 1971, in Lacrosse, WI to Georgia Leigh Rieman. Then was later married to Tracy Volsicka on August 21, 2002.
Jeremy was a very shy, but kind person. He would always jump in to help whenever he saw someone struggling. He loved to be with his family, whether that would be out in the boat, or staying in watching shows and movies. Jeremy was also very caring and compassionate to animals, as it showed with every animal he came in contact with.
While living in Wausau, Jeremy worked at Fiskars for an impressive 13 years. Day in and day out, Jeremy would take his cooler filled with his favorite homemade lunches and work his hands to the bone, to help provide for the family which he loved with all his heart. Many of his coworkers said if it weren’t for him, the place would just not be the same.
Jeremy was a loving father, as well as husband. He had a passion for bowling, starting at a young age and dominated in leagues. Jeremy was also an avid fisherman, whether it would be reeling in the little ones, to fighting the giants. Just as long as there was a fishing rod in his hands, and a line in the water. From a young age, Jeremy took to wood working with his grandpa, which taught him the value of seeing things through, which he avidly passed on to his children.
It is hard to explain just how much of an impact Jeremy had on everyone. He always was trying to help in the slightest way possible, and by doing so, he spread joy amongst many. He will be deeply missed by many, from friends to family, It is not necessarily goodbye, but more like until we meet again.
Survivors include his aunt Ginger, Wausau, wife Tracy, Mosinee, daughters Megan, Wausau, and Calacey, Mosinee, son David, Mosinee, and step-son Cody, Mosinee. His pets include Spunky (rabbit), Moscato and Penny (cats), and Hollie (dog).
Visitation along with a sermon will be held on July 1, 2019, at the Mt. Olive Church, 6205 Alderson St. Weston, WI. 54476, and visitation hours will be from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Beverly Gutknecht
Beverly Gutknecht, 94, formerly of Oshkosh, passed peacefully on Friday June 21, 2019 at Bell Tower Residence, Merrill.
She was born May 30, 1925 in Shawano, Wisconsin to the late Robert and Mamie (Hanson) Krause. After attending Shawano High School, Beverly enlisted in the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps to help alleviate the nursing shortage during World War II. She graduated in 1947 from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Her career as a Registered Nurse spanned over 47 years, but at least 80 if you’d ask her. On September 22, 1951, Beverly married Harold Gutknecht in Shawano. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2009.
In her younger years, Beverly enjoyed traveling, camping and volunteering. One of Bev’s favorite hobbies was investing and making money. She was happiest when she was spending time with her children and grandchildren. It brought Beverly great joy knowing that her daughter and granddaughter had gone on to follow in her footsteps and become nurses as well. Until Beverly’s final days, she continued to make sure those around her were comfortable and taken care of. She always went out of her way to ask, “have you eaten yet?” or “do you need any money?”. When going to grandma’s house, no one ever doubted that a box of ice cream was in the freezer and chocolates were in the candy jar. Spirituality and prayer had forever been a large part of Bev’s life and who she was. She spent much of her time at Bell Tower in the chapel going to as many masses as she could. Beverly took immense pride in her close relationship “with the man upstairs” and could never say goodbye without saying “I’ll pray for you”. Her contagious smile and twinkling green eyes will be missed so very much.
Survivors include her son, Robert (Lisa) Gutknecht of Wausau, daughter, Cynthia Gutknecht of Waupaca, three grandchildren, Jessica (fiancé Nick Anderson), Ben (Taylor Schein) and Tim (Kaitlin Erickson) Gutknecht, and a sister Yvonne Russell of Oshkosh. In addition to her parents and late husband, Beverly is preceded in death by her brother, Bob Krause, and sister Amy (Krause) Klose.
The family of Bev Gutknecht would like to thank the sisters and staff at Bell Tower in Merrill for the wonderful care and support they’ve provided over the past 3 years.
A gathering of memories will be taking place in the Bell Tower Residence Hall lobby between 10 AM and 11 AM on July 8th, 2019. A celebration of life will follow at 11 AM at the chapel in Bell Tower. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh on a later date.

Shane Joseph Windorski
Shane Joseph Windorski, 32, of Rothschild, died on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
He was born in Wausau on January 26, 1987 to Joseph and Charlotte Windorski. After completing high school, Shane went on to get his certificates in Culinary Arts, Human Services; as well as Safety and Sanitation.
Shane was a loving and free spirit. He loved going to music festivals with his “Festi Family.” He loved being a Hibachi Chef and took great pride in his skills. He was intelligent and had a big heart. Most important to Shane were his family and friends. A night never went by where he didn’t tell his mom and dad good night and his entire family that he loved them. The world is a little bit darker without the light that Shane brought into it. He will forever be missed by every life that he has touched.
Shane is survived by his parents, Joe and Char Windorski; his brother, Jason; Sister, Tracy (Matt) Franson; nieces and nephews, Austin, Kyler (Talin), Taylor, Zach, Sadie and Calen; Great-nieces and nephews, Waylon, Maverick, McKinnley, and Emma; aunts and uncles, Patricia (George) Desnoyer, Mike Windorski, Karen (Kurt) Klein, Sue (Wayne) Pakonen, Gary (Teri) Windorski, John (Rochelle) Windorski, Bob (Jill) Windorski, Geri (Mark) Gore, Fred (Marilyn) Steinagel, Whitey (Pam) Steinagel and Mike (Joan Steinagel. He is further survived by his “Festi Family,” who were truly his family at heart.
Shane was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents; his aunt Lanette Steinagel; nephew, Cody Schuster; cousin Cody Sliwicki; and his best friend, Marcus Harrop.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce Street, Wausau. Wes Jedras will officiate. Visitation will take place from 3:00 pm until the time of services at the funeral home. Please go to helke.com to sign the family guestbook.

Bonnie Jane Prescott
Bonnie J. Prescott, 69, of Wittenberg, died on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born on March 14, 1950 in Weston, the daughter of the late Esau and Minnie (Littlewolf) Prescott.
Bonnie was a cultural presenter with the Wisconsin Arts Board. She also worked for the Ho-Chunk Tribal Aging Unit and was past office holder of the Native American Church. Bonnie was a known sewer and beader and enjoyed traveling, Pow Wow dancing and trips to the casino. Most important was the time spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors include five children, Daniel David Prescott of Stevens Point, Dylan Standing Eagle (Jen Rasmussen) Prescott of Wausau, Maunne Belle Daniels of Batesville, Arkansas, Cha-ska Prescott and Bradley Wayne Smith of Wittenberg; 14 grandchildren and two siblings, Nancy Prescott of Wittenberg and Duane Prescott of Indianapolis.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Thomas, Curtis, Byron and Myron Prescott.
Commitment services will be held at 1PM on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Native American Church, Wittenberg. Burial will be in John Stacy Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1PM to 5PM at the church.
