WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW

Four people were injured in two separate crashes over the weekend in Lincoln County, sheriff’s officials said.

In the first crash, two people were injured when a westbound vehicle on CTH C collided with second vehicle that turned in front

The first crash happened at about 11:45 a.m. on Saturday on CTH C. Police say the driver of an eastbound vehicle turned into a driveway and was struck by an oncoming westbound vehicle. Two people were injured.

The second crash, which also injured two people, happened Sunday on Lincoln Drive at CTH K. A 911 caller reported the single-vehicle crash at about 5 a.m. Police say the driver swerved to miss a deer and collided with two mailboxes and an embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The severity of the injuries involved has not been specified and no names were released.
