Crews responded Friday night to a two vehicle crash near Wausau in which two people were injured, including one person who suffered severe injuries.
The crash was reported at about 9:15 p.m. on Hwy. K in the village of Maine.
First responders initially called for a helicopter but later canceled that request and both victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Their current conditions were not immediately available early Saturday and no names were released.
