One person is dead following an ATV crash early Thursday in Adams County, according to sheriff’s officials.
Adams County Sheriff Brent York says the crash was reported at about 2 a.m. Oct. 10 in the 1100 block of 17th Drive in the town of Monroe.
The initial investigation indicates the driver of the ATV was traveling south bound and struck a deer, York said. Lifesaving measures were not successful and 56-yearold Brian Sadomski, of Arkdale, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash, according to York.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources-Bureau of Law Enforcement is in charge of the investigation.
