WAUSAU — South First Avenue and Thomas Street in Wausau will open on the afternoon of Nov. 15, the city of Wausau announced today.
Neither of these projects are fully complete and additional work will take place over the next month with final work to be completed in the spring, according to Wausau.
Work to be completed on Thomas Street includes:
1. Street lights and traffic signals at the intersection of Third Avenue and Thomas Street.
2. Final landscape work at the bio-retention pond.
3. Secondary pavement marking.
Work to be completed on South First Avenue includes:
1. Concrete work (sidewalks and drive approaches). Pouring of concrete in drive approaches.
2. Landscaping.
3. Secondary pavement marking.
