Wausau Montgomery-Plant-Dudley Post 10 donates money for camp truck

in Community

Wausau Montgomery-Plant-Dudley Post 10 recently donated about $35,000 for a truck with a snow plow for Camp American Legion. The American Legion Department of Wisconsin Legion Riders also donated $10,000 for the equipment.

The truck was purchased in Wausau from the Brickner Family dealership, who provided a significant discount. The truck replaces a 20+ year-old vehicle that was no longer road worthy. This upgrade in vehicles will allow the camp to remain open longer, with year-round possibilities.

Additionally, the vehicle will be used in local events, promoting the Camp in the Northwoods area.
