Five candidates will compete for three open trustee seats in the village of Weston, according to Village Clerk Sherry Weinkauf.
Steven Cronin, Hooshang Zeyghami, Yee Leng Xiong, Loren White and Mark Maloney will appear on the ballot. Zeyghami, Xiong and Maloney are incumbents, while Cronin and White are challengers.
White is a former Weston village president.
Terms for Village Trustees are two years.
In Rib Mountain, three candidates are vying for two open positions. Gerard Klein, the incumbent, will be joined on the ballot by John Happli and Dan Fiorenza.
Jim Legner opted not to seek re-election, according to Rib Mountain Town Clerk Joanne Ruechel.
This year’s spring election is April 7.
