Police in Eagle River say three people were arrested Friday on accusations of manufacturing methamphetamine, prompting a multi-jurisdictional response.

The Eagle River Police Department and Vilas County Sheriff’s Department searched an Eagle River home at about 9 a.m. Friday with assistance from the Northwoods Drug Enforcement Group and the state Department of Justice Clandestine Lab Unit, according to a release.

Due to the volatility of the chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, police issued a cautionary statement early Friday requesting the public avoid the area in the 900 block of East Pine Street.

The names of the suspects arrested have not yet been released.
