Gordmans department store in Rib Mountain will soon close, company officials have confirmed.
A “store closing” sale is already underway at the Rib Mountain location, at 226601 Rib Mountain Drive.
Locations in Ashwaubenon, Kenosha and Madison are also shuttering.
Gordmans filed for bankruptcy in 2017, after which rival department store chain Stage Stores of Houston won the right to buy about 50 Gordmans stores. At the time, the Rib Mountain location was still considered one of the more “desirable” stores in the chain, according to an April 2017 statement from the Stage CEO.
Rib Mountain Gordmans employees say they have not been given a final date for the impending closure.
