SCHOFIELD – United Way of Marathon County’s Partnership for Youth, in conjunction with the D.C. Everest Area and Wausau school districts, will host a College, Career and Hiring Fair for students on March 12 at Greenheck Field House, 6400 Alderson St., Schofield.
About 2,000 students between the ages of 14 and 18 are expected to visit the field house in rotating shifts from 8 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to network with representatives from local businesses, colleges, universities and U.S. military branches.
The College, Career & Hiring Fair provides a unique experience for vendors and students to connect on full- or part-time employment, youth apprenticeship, future career and / or educational options. More than 85 vendors have registered for this event.
This event is free to students and vendors.
