Security Health Plan cancels Medicare seminars due to coronavirus health concerns

The seminars had been scheduled to provide important information about Medicare and Security’s Medicare plan options for individuals who will soon turn 65 years of age or have become eligible for Medicare for other reasons.

While individuals who had preregistered for a seminar have been notified, many in attendance sign up at the events. Cancellation notices are being posted at the seminar locations.

In lieu of attending a seminar, individuals who would like to get information about Medicare and Medicare plan options are encouraged to call Security’s Sales Department at 720-572-1769, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Those with hearing or speech impairments can call TTY: 711.

Security’s Consumer Sales Associates are experts on the advantages of each Medicare plan type and can explain when people are allowed to enroll, what is and is not covered, plan premiums and out-of-pocket costs. They can also help callers enroll over the phone if desired.
