WAUSAU — The suspect in the Kwik Trip robbery on Grand Avenue in Wausau on March 21 is in custody.
Stephen Cento, 36, of Wausau was arrested March 24 at a business in the 2300 block of Grand Avenue in Wausau, transported to the Marathon County Jail and charged with robbery.
Cento allegedly entered the Kwik Trip on March 21 and requested a cigar at the checkout before demanding money, according to the Wausau Police Department. When an employee directed co-workers to call 911, the suspect grabbed the cigar and fled the scene before officers arrived. No money was lost during the robbery, police said.
