A resident at Rennes Health and Rehab Center in Rhinelander is in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19, according to a release from the organization.

The man was tested on Friday when he showed “rapid onset of respiratory symptoms,” the release states. He was then hospitalized for evaluation and is “currently in off-site isolation.”

A positive test result came back on Sunday. It is unclear if the man’s test result is included in Oneida County’s tally of three cases, which was posted by the DHS on Monday.

Rennes is a 95-bed facility providing rehabilitation services and 24-hour nursing coverage.
