WAUSAU – As local officials weigh the risks and rewards of reopening their local economies, they face a series of intertwined economic, public health and public relations challenges. 

At 10 a.m. today, May 29, Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Route 51” host Shereen Siewert welcomes Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce President Dave Eckmann and Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce President Angel Whitehead of Wisconsin Rapids for a discussion on the re-emerging economy.  

Eckmann and Whitehead will discuss what their organizations are doing to raise consumer confidence, while helping local businesses reopen safely and securely.
