A motorcycle crash east of Wausau left one person dead and another person injured, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash was reported at 6:34 p.m. and happened in the westbound lanes of Hwy. 29, east of Hwy. Y in the town of Norrie.
The driver of the motorcycle died and a passenger was seriously injured, officials said.
Police say no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Officials say they will release the name of the victim who died 24 hours after the crash.
