The victim in a fatal July 4 motorcycle crash north of Rhinelander has been identified as 65-year-old Christopher J. Trzcinski, of Eagle River.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Department released Trzcinski’s name early Monday.
Police were called at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday to a report of a motorcycle in the ditch on Lone Pine Road in the town of Sugar Camp.
Arriving deputies discovered Trzcinski dead at the scene of the crash. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by Three Lakes Police Department, Oneida County Ambulances Medic 8 and Medic 1, Sugar Camp Fire Department, Sugar Camp First Responders, and the Medical Examiners Department.
