Cheryl Parker
Cheryl A. Parker, 60, went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2020. This beautiful young lady will be remembered as someone who always was willing to help others with her big heart of gold. She is now with our mother celebrating our mother’s birthday today.
Cheryl attended Lincoln High School in Milwaukee. After graduating, she went on to Iowa State University and University Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
She was a hard worker. She was known to work several jobs at one time. She was a casino cashier for the Ho Chunk nation in Wittenberg, Wisconsin. She retired after 21 years of service with the State of Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles. Cheryl was the team leader of the Wausau DMV and also held the position of union president for the local chapter.
She also worked as a standby snowplow driver for the city if Milwaukee, drove school bus for Ryder Transportation, drove the big trucks for Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, worked as a cashier at the Boston Store, just to name a few.
Cheryl is survived by sisters Joy Parker, Milwaukee; Lisa Parker, Chippewa Falls; Marna Parker, Milwaukee; Sandra Humes Benton, Milwaukee; brother Shawn Parker, Weston. Also by four nieces, one nephew and many great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Aug. 14, 2020, at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home in Schofield, Wisconsin. Visitation is from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and service is at 4:30 p.m., with Father Marion officiating.

Elaine Edwards
Elaine J. Edwards, 91, of Wausau passed away on Aug. 9, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born to Robert and Selma Maaser on Nov. 17, 1928. She married John J. Edwards Sr. in November of 1952.
She is survived by son John Edwards, Jr., Kingsland, Georgia, daughters Peggy (Ole) Oleson, Wis. Rapids, Cynthia (Wayne) Reuter, Wausau, son-in-law Perry VanDenHeuvel, daughter-in-law Kathleen Edwards, Duluth, Minnesota, 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Edwards, Sr., daughter Kim VanDenHeuvel, son Roy Edwards, daughter-in-law Cathy Edwards, brother Robert Maaser and sister Marion Wollenziehn.
In her younger years, Elaine was active in many things. At her beloved Zion she served on the Altar Guild, sang in the choir, was a Stephen minister and hospice volunteer. She drove a school bus for more than 30 years and also drove for ambuvans. She loved celebrating Mother’s Day by hosting dinner for the mothers of her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Grammy.” She loved to travel, and always enjoyed a paddleboat or canoe ride around Sand Lake.
Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 14, 2020, at Zion Lutheran Church with visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. Officiated by Pastor Steven Gjerde. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery with full military honors. Masks requested.

Kenneth Wilcox
Kenneth “Ken” George Wilcox, 70, of Weston lost his battle with leukemia on Aug. 10, 2020, surrounded by his wife and daughters.
Ken was born in Neenah, Wisconsin, on May 2, 1950, to the late Rolland and Elizabeth (Mesner) Wilcox. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marlene (Miller) Wilcox; daughters, Mary (Patrick) Wilcox-Martin of Sun Prairie, Elizabeth Wilcox of Weston, Jennifer (Matthew) Scharenbroch of Appleton; grandson, Evan James Scharenbroch of Appleton. He is further survived by his siblings, Ann Pesavento, Virginia Wilcox, Theoadore (Virginia) Wilcox. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Peter Wilcox.
Ken graduated from Xavier High School in Appleton in 1968. He continued his education for two years at Michigan Tech and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from UW-Platteville. He met Marlene Miller in Appleton, and they were married on May 3, 1980, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Appleton. Over his career, he was employed by Meyer Industries of Redwing, Minnesota, Skyline Industries of Flint, Michigan, Twin City Testing of Wausau and retired after 25 years of service as a R&D Engineer at Kolbe & Kolbe Millwork in Wausau.
Besides his wife and three daughters, Ken loved to ride his bicycle. He rode with bicycle groups and on his own, carrying items along to camp on extended trips. He also rode to work while at Kolbe & Kolbe every day as long as the weather was good from April to November. He loved to garden and grew many of his vegetables from seeds that he harvested from year to year (Seed Savers Exchange.) For many years, Ken was an active member at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Rothschild, participating in the choir and youth activities.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, 2020, at Brainard Funeral Home – Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston. A private memorial service will be held, officiated by Pastor Rich Block of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Rothschild.
The family wishes to thank all involved with Ken’s care with special thanks to Dr. Chris Peterson and Dr. Rezazadeh and the team at the Aspirus Cancer Center. Ken was grateful for all those who donate blood and plasma to help others. A special thanks to Pride TLC for the compassionate care he received during the short time he was there, as well as the caregivers from Nicolet Staffing.

Richard Hoehn
Richard D. Hoehn, 85, passed peacefully into his loving father’s arms on March 27, 2020, in Wausau, Wisconsin.
He was born in Nyack, New York, on April 5, 1934, and lived there until his move to Wisconsin, to be near his brother’s family in 1974. “Uncle Rich” is survived by nieces, Karen (John) Pelot, Kathy (Dan) Buss, nephews, Ken (Jerri) Hoehn, Kregg (Cindy) Hoehn and Keith (Sandra) Hoehn, 15 grandnieces and nephews, numerous great grand nieces and nephews and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel Hoehn and brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Olga Hoehn.
He graduated from Nyack High School in 1952 and served in the U.S. Army during the Cold War, honorably discharged in 1956. He worked alongside his father delivering ice cream and frozen treats to numerous resorts and restaurants in New York and New Jersey. He always made sure his family was well stocked with ice cream, to the dismay of parents.
He loved music, movies and trips to New York City, “the City” as he called it, and road trips. He made many trips to Wisconsin and southern states, visiting friends and family. He will be remembered for his beautiful singing voice, sense of humor, gentleness, love and caring for family and friends.

Allen Beck
Allen Beck, 68, of Aniwa was called to his eternal resting place on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2020, at his home.
Allen was born on Oct. 9, 1951, in Wausau, son to the late Milton and Dolores (Stoklasa) Beck. He graduated from D.C. Everest High School, class of 1969. He was united in marriage to his wife of 44 years, Suzanne Beck (Seymour) on Sept. 25, 1976.
After high school, he worked for H&H Builders for many years until taking over the family farm in 1984. He farmed with his brother Keith and in his later years, with his son Shawn, until his retirement in 2015.
In his free time, he enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers, and teasing Bears fans. He was also an active outdoorsman, who in his younger years enjoyed snowmobiling, and being in the woods, either making firewood or producing top quality maple syrup to give away to family and friends. Allen always had a lifelong love of hunting, having taken many trips to a family cabin out West to hunt, and he never missed a Wisconsin gun deer season. During his later years, Allen enjoyed just being in the woods.
Allen is survived by his wife, Suzanne; his sons, Bobby and Shawn (Shayna); brothers, John (Barb) of Marshfield, David (Betty) of Menomonee Falls, Keith of Wausau; sister Mary (Dale) Gohdes of Wausau; as well as many nieces, nephews and his favorite beagle dog, Elmie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son James; and his brother Robert.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Aniwa. Reverend Ryan Fehrmann will officiate. Donald Beck
Donald R. Beck, 78, town of Easton, passed away on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020, at Mount View Care Center.
Donald was born in Wausau on Dec. 21, 1941, to the late Russell and Olga (Wenzel) Beck. After completing high school, Donald went on to complete his associate degree at Northcentral Technical College. He retired from the United States Post Office, where he held many titles throughout the years. Donald met, fell in love and married the love of his life, Jan Schmidt, on Aug. 24, 1963. She preceded him in death on Oct. 8, 2012.
Donald was a “salt of the earth” man, who had a quiet charm. He was a kind man, who was liked by all who had the chance to meet him. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, spending time up in the woods, making maple syrup, hunting, or fishing. In his later years, he became an avid golfer during the summer months and continued to enjoy going bowling in the winter months. Donald served several terms on the Easton Town Board and was extremely active at his church, Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in the town of Easton. Donald will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Todd Beck and Brenda (Jeff) Kitsembel; as well as his two granddaughters, Alyssa and Emma (fiancé Luke Vargo) Kitsembel.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Jan; and his sister Carolyn Sippl.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, town of Easton. Pastor Ryan Fehrmann will officiate. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services; all to take place at the church. Thomas Rahn
Thomas Rahn will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and talents with woodworking and mechanics. He was always ready with just the right the tool for the job and willing to help.
Thomas was born Sept. 25, 1943, in Wausau to the late Ben and Alice Rahn. He attended Wausau High School, graduating in the class of 1962. Tom worked for the city of Wausau after graduating from “The Tech” and met his future wife, Sue, through his work partner. Tom and Sue were married in 1970, and together until her death in 2016.
Tom passed away from lung complications on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Morgenson, daughter, Amy (Tim) Ridley, and granddaughter, Victoria.
A private interment will be held at a later date. There will not be a public visitation or service due to COVID-19.

Marjorie Rosnostik
Marjorie Delores Rosnostik, 67, of Wausau passed away peacefully on Aug. 5, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born to James and Frances (Scheffler) Neuens on Feb. 24, 1953.
She is survived by her son Richard Dunse, Reedsburg one daughter Kathy (Jeff McCullick) Luke, two brothers; John (Mary Ann) Neuens, Wausau, James Neuens, Wausau, two sisters, Carol (Rodney) Westphal, Kronenwetter, Joyce (Tom) Ladron, Reedsburg, mother-in-law Jane Rosnostik, sister-in-law Silvia Meier, brother-in-law Jim Meyer, Reedsburg, nine grandchildren; Sidnei, Shain, Guthrie, Deakin, Serissa, Jessie, Zaxstyn Dunse, Paige, Parker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rosnotik, Dolores Meyer, Geraldine Reichenbach, and son-in-law Chad Luke.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, from noon to 1 p.m. and prayer service at 1 p.m. officiated by Father Albert.

Kathryn Baumann
At 69 years young, Kathryn Shirley (Beyer) Baumann of Wittenberg, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020. Kathy fulfilled her wish of passing at home surrounded by her family.
Kathryn was born on Oct. 9 in Wabeno Wisconsin. Loving daughter of Henry Sr. and Maude Beyer.
On May 9, Kathryn was forever united in marriage to Richard Baumann at St. Agnes Church in Butler, Wisconsin.
Kathy worked as a respiratory therapist until retirement. She enjoyed the Packers, her dogs, and her garden. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her loving husband, Dick.
Left to mourn the loss of his loving and devoted wife is her husband Richard “Dick” Baumann. They were blessed with, two loving daughters Tina Heizman of Whitewater, Wisconsin, and Heather Ehlert (Pete) of Appleton, Wisconsin, and her son Joshua Baumann of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Kathy was known as “Granny” to her cherished grandkids, Jake Heizman, Luke Heizman, Kasey Heizman, Austin Ehlert, and Emma Ehlert.
Kathy was survived by her brother Junior Beyer, brother-in-law Donnie (Shelia) Baumann, brother-in-law Tom Krainer (Dawn), sister-in-law Pat Thurnbauer, sister-in-law Bonnie Beyer, and sister-in-law Alice Beyer. Kathy was adored by many nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her son Chad, brothers Melvin Beyer and Buzzy Beyer, sister-in-law Kate Krainer, brother-in-law Clare Thurnbauer, sister-in-law Shirley (Stan) Erickson.
Her laughter and giving heart will always be remembered by close friends, Dennis and Linda Slater, Danny Decent, Rod Karcz, and Kim and Judy Berger.
A private family service will be held at St. Joseph Holy Family Parish in the town of Phlox on Aug 15 at 11 a.m.

Pauline Pagryzinski
Pauline Pagryzinski, 98, of Hatley died on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020, at Homme Home of Wittenberg.
Pauline was born on Feb. 2, 1922, in the town of Reid, the daughter of Pete and Susie (Gorski) Cebula.
On Oct. 30, 1943, Pauline was united in marriage to Robert Pagryzinski at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. He preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1988.
Pauline farmed for many years until 1988. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and rose bushes. Pauline especially liked trips to the casino and going out to eat. She was a member at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church.
Pauline is survived by four children, Gladys (Richard) Heisler, Ralph (Jean) Pagryzinski, David (Judy) Pagryzinski, and Jerome Pagryzinski; three sisters, Marion Kostka, Natalie Ostrowski, and Mattie Wanta; two brothers, Willy and Jim Cebula; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; two brothers, Daniel and Henry; a granddaughter, Nicole; and a daughter-in-law, Sally.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020, at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. Fr. Augustine Bentil will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at church.

Sharon Trinko
Sharon May (Zeinert) Trinko, 77, of Bowler passed away on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, with her husband and children by her side.
Sharon was born on March 27, 1943, in the town of Almon, Shawano County. She was the daughter of Harold and Agnes Zeinert.
On Sept. 30, 1961, Sharon was united in marriage to Dennis Trinko at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bowler.
Sharon enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, her flowers and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed her card games with Dennis. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Sharon also loved to sew and crochet, especially making blankets for the grandchildren and special handmade gifts for family. Sharon was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowler. She was employed at Birch Hill and then retired from the Homme Home of Wittenberg as a housekeeper.
Sharon is survived by her caring husband of 58 years, Dennis Trinko; daughters, Vicky (Roger) Jolitz and Stacey (Roger) Nueske; sons, Lance (Wendy) Trinko and Tim (Julie) Trinko; grandchildren, Luke (Jamie) Jolitz, Justin (Kate) Jolitz, Kelsie (Robert) Schoneck, Ashley (fiancé Zack) Nueske, Chase Nueske, Janessa (Cody) Yaklovich, Sadie (Phil) Duffek and Austin (special friend Carly) Trinko, Brandon (special friend Loreli) Trinko and Bradley Trinko and great grandchildren, Ethan, Maddie & Mason Jolitz, Rilynn and Barrett Duffek, Brynleigh and ‘one on the way’ Yaklovich and Sophie Trinko. Sharon is further survived by her brothers, Darwin (Betty) Zeinert and Rodney (Pat) Zeinert and sisters-in-law, Patti Zeinert and Pat Zeinert.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, DeLloyd, Jerald, Larry and Ricky; her sister Julaine; her sisters-in-law, Lori and Bonnie and her brother-in-law, Clarence ‘Gooby’ Olson.
There will be a public visitation held on Friday, Aug. 14, 2020, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bowler. Due to the current mandate, masks are required and social distancing will be practiced.
A Private Family Service will be held. Rev. Clifford Kessen and Rev. Mark Hesse will officiate. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, town of Almon at a later date.
