WESTON – Two Black hair stylists from Appleton will train local stylists in the care and maintenance of natural Black hair and will give free haircuts to residents of color as part of the training event.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 13 at Verve Salon, 2106 Schofield Ave. in Weston.
People for the Power of Love will be setup outside of Verve Salon during the event.
Customers will be required to wear masks while inside the salon; masks will be provided to those who do not have a mask.
