SCHOFIELD – Marcus Hall scored 32 points and Cohen Priebe added 24 as the D.C. Everest boys basketball team upended Stevens Point 89-77 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference contest Friday at D.C. Everest High School.

Hall was 14-for-17 at the free throw line, 11-for-14 in the second half, as the Evergreens put up 55 points to pull away.

Priebe made four of D.C. Everest’s nine 3-piointers in the win as the Evergreens improve to 8-10 overall and 6-3 in the WVC.

James Jacobs led Stevens Point with 30 points and Damian Cjeka added 20 points on the strength of four 3-pointers. The Panthers drop to 11-7 and 7-2 in the Valley.

Both teams hit the road for nonconference games on Tuesday. D.C. Everest will be at Chippewa Falls and Stevens Point at Kimberly.
