Vehicle break-ins on the rise on Wausau’s SE side

Police in Wausau have taken numerous reports of thefts from vehicles in recent days, especially in areas on the city’s southeast side.

In a Facebook post, the Wausau Police Department is urging residents to keep valuable property out of vehicles and keep vehicles locked at all times.

Anyone who wishes to report a vehicle break-in can complete a self-report online or call the non emergency police number at 715-261-7800.
