WAUSAU – REI Engineering Inc. has announced the promotion of Ken Lassa, senior consultant and professional soil scientist, to vice president of REI Engineering, Inc.
Lassa began his career at REI as an environmental scientist in 1997 and transitioned to environmental department manager in 2004. He has most recently served as senior consultant, dedicating his time to client development, relationship building with subcontractors, project scoping, managing and growing existing client relationships.
Lassa will support a wide variety of REI’s operations, including project management, marketing, business and team development, HR and safety.
“Ken is an exceptional person and professional, (and) his character and work ethic is reflective of our REI values of honesty, respect, reliability and fun,” said president Jeny Nieuwenhuis. “We are excited for Ken to continue to help us consistently exceed our client’s expectations, evolve through new opportunities and be a mentor for our extraordinary team at REI.”
