APPLETON – The Wausau East boys basketball team lost a WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal at No. 1 seed Fox Valley Lutheran 83-55 on Friday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
Wausau East, the No. 9 seed which won a regional quarterfinal on Tuesday over No. 8 Lakeland, finishes the season with a 6-20 record.
East statistics were not reported.
Fox Valley Lutheran (21-4) will host a Division 2 regional final against No. 4 Medford (19-6) at 7 p.m. Saturday.
