WAUSAU – The Wausau Wolfpack high school girls lacrosse team will host a meeting for the parents of players at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, at Wausau East High School.

High school girls who are interested in participating in the 2023 season and their parents are encouraged to attend this meeting and the weekly open gym sessions, detailed below.

The team hosts weekly open gym sessions at Wausau East High School during the winter. These events are held from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Strength training is held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays prior to the open gym time.

The Wolfpack will tentatively kick off their 2023 season in Waunakee on April 1. The team participates in the Bay Valley Conference, which stretches the state from Hudson to Bay Port.

The Wolfpack had a record of 8-9 for the 2022 season.

The team is supported at the Pack Leader level by Dr. Eric Thiel of Bone and Joint Clinic, at the Howler level by Wausau Oral Surgery and at the Lone Wolf level by WoodTrust Bank.

Wolfpack Lacrosse is a registered 501(c) and includes both boys and girls players from schools around central Wisconsin. The high school girls Wolfpack team was launched in 2015.
