City officials in Wausau issued a two-day snow removal emergency in advance of the coming storm.
Wausau’s order is in effect from noon Wednesday until noon on Friday. Vehicles may not be parked on city streets during this time to allow crews to plow and remove snow and ensure emergency vehicles can respond when needed.
Drivers who leave vehicles on the street will be issued $100 fines.
