WAUSAU – For years, listeners have enjoyed hearing stories from WPR’s “Wisconsin Life,” a program that celebrates the lives lived, relationships formed and communities built in the state. Each program features a unique aspect of life in Wisconsin, illustrating the state’s strong sense of regional identity.

At 10 a.m. Feb. 24, “Route 51” host Shereen Siewert welcomes Maureen McCollum, executive producer and host of WPR’s audio series “Wisconsin Life,” for a behind-the-scenes look at the program, from how stories are identified and chosen to the connections they create for listeners throughout the state. We’ll hear some excerpts of stories highlighting our region as well.
