Two additional northwoods counties will close their snowmobile trails this week, marking the end of the season for trail riders.
The last day to use the Vilas and Iron County Snowmobile Trails is Friday. All trails in those systems will close at midnight, the night of March 31.
Riding a snowmobile on state-funded trails after the closing date is illegal.
