WAUSAU – From May through August, join the Marathon County Historical Society on the second Thursday of each month for Storytime in the Garden.
The popular program will return to the Yawkey House garden from 11 a.m. to noon May 11, June 8, July 13 and Aug. 10. Participants cans enjoy a couple storybooks in the pergola followed by a children’s craft in the Carriage House.
Across the street at the Woodson History Center, 410 McIndoe St., you’ll find the society’s regular exhibits and children’s room.
