Wausau Pilot & Review

WAUSAU – A late rally by the Wausau Post 10 American Legion baseball team came up short as Antigo held on for a 10-8 win in a Wisconsin Valley Legion Conference game Thursday night at Athletic Park.

Antigo scored in each of the first five innings and led 10-2 before Wausau mounted a comeback.

The Bulldogs (7-4, 3-3 WVLC) plated four runs in the sixth inning and added two more in the seventh on a bases-loaded walk by Dylan Dobratz and an RBI single by Ethan Graham. But a ground ball that led to a force out at third base ended the game as Wausau left the bases loaded.

Ryan Rasmussen had three hits and two RBI, and Landon Parlier had two hits and drove in three for Wausau.

Wausau will compete at the Appleton Post 38 Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
