MERRILL – The D.C. Everest boys basketball team jumped out to a 25-point lead by halftime and doubled up Merrill, winning 62-31 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game Tuesday at Merrill High School.

Cade Felch made six 3-pointers and scored a team-high 18 points for D.C. Everest, which is now 7-13 overall and 2-7 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. Merrill falls to 7-12 and 0-8 in conference play.

Casey Stuedemann added 11 points, and Cohen Priebe had 10 points and nine rebounds in the win for the Evergreens.

D.C. Everest plays a WVC game at home against Wausau West on Thursday before traveling to Wisconsin Dells for a nonconference matchup on Saturday.
