Solo & Ensemble is an annual music competition for students in grades 7-12 who perform in front of an audience and adjudicator and receive feedback on their performance. Become a Literacy Tutoring Volunteer. Program volunteers play an integral role within GiGi’s Playhouse by facilitating educational and therapeutic skill development activities and connecting with families.?All training is provided, and you will be with two to three other volunteers. We provide sample lesson plans, program guides and a host of resources to help support you. Programs serve all ages of participants and program schedules vary. Meals Needed. St. Vincent de Paul’s new Getting Ahead program seeks pre-prepared meals for its weekly workshops held on Tuesday evenings. The Getting Ahead program assists people experiencing poverty, and building their resources toward self-sufficiency. Individuals, organizations, churches and other groups can sponsor a meal by bringing a pre-prepared cold or hot meal (home-cooked or store/restaurant bought) to the workshop location at 5 p.m. Tuesday nights or donating a gift card for a restaurant or grocery store. Become a Group Facilitator. The Getting Ahead Program through St. Vincent de Paul seeks community members interested in becoming facilitators. Qualified facilitators will have a high level of empathy, good listening skills, be organized and reliable.
