WAUSAU – The Wausau East boys basketball team shot 54 percent from the field and had little trouble defeating Colfax 72-31 in a nonconference matchup Monday at East High School.

Jaydan Garrett had 15 points and six assists, Jack Barthels kicked in 12 points, and Charlie Cayley had 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Lumberjacks, who are now 17-6 this season.

East will finish its regular season with a Wisconsin Valley Conference game at Stevens Point on Thursday.
