EAU CLAIRE – Eau Claire North outscored D.C. Everest by 21 points in the second half to pull away for a 61-41 win in a WIAA Division 1 girls basketball regional quarterfinal Tuesday at North High School.

D.C. Everest led 22-21 at halftime but North surged ahead in the second half, limiting the Evergreens to 19 points.

Kirsten Hall had 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists, and Ella Eckhoff had five points and nine rebounds for D.C. Everest, which finishes its season with a 3-22 record.

Elli O’Keefe led Eau Claire North with 17 points.

Eau Claire (10-15) moves on to a Division 1 regional semifinal at Hudson on Friday.
