The Mosinee School Board has selected Greg Doverspike to become the next Superintendent of the district, according to a news release issued Monday.

During a Special School Board Meeting on Feb. 26, the School Board approved the Superintendent contract for Doverspike. He will be replacing David Munoz, who resigned at the end of the 2023 school year.

Mr. Doverspike has been serving as the Superintendent of the Durand-Arkansaw school district for the past 11 years. He will officially begin his duties on July 1.

“The School District is excited to welcome Mr. Doverspike and his family to our district and look forward to working on Mosinee’s continued success with his experience and leadership abilities,” the news release stated.

The school board also extended its gratitude to Rob Way, the director of curriculum who also served as interim superintendent, and to Jolynn Schmidt, the elementary principal who assisted Wray with curriculum duties for the 2023-2024 school year.
