WAUSAU – Connexus Credit Union announced recently the appointment of Laura Huggins as its newest member of its senior leadership team, serving as the senior vice president of marketing.
Huggins brings with her nearly two decades of experience in the financial services and insurance sectors. Prior to joining Connexus, Huggins held various leadership roles, including her recent tenure as the head of marketing at Church Mutual Insurance Co. and her role as chief marketing officer at the PA School Boards Association and Insurance Trust.
Huggins’ passion for credit unions dates back to her early career, where she served as a credit union youth ambassador, advocating for credit unions nationwide.
She serves as treasurer/secretary of the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce, marketing chairwoman of Girls on the Run Northcentral Wisconsin, and vice president of Merrill Foundation, Inc.
