WAUSAU – The League of Women Voters of Marathon County will host a Wausau mayoral candidate forum in March with incumbent Mayor Katie Rosenberg and her challenger Doug Diny.
“This is an opportunity for Wausau voters to hear directly from the candidates on the issues that are important to them,” said Kay Palmer, president of the League of Women Voters of Marathon County.
The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. March 14 in the Professional Development Center in the Center of Health Sciences at Northcentral Technical College, 1000 W. Campus Drive, Wausau. Use parking lot B.
The format for this event allows audience members to pose questions to each of the candidates. There is no charge to attend this event.
The election will be held April 2.
