Are You A Planner? Become an Aspirus advance directives assistant to help community members complete their power of attorney for health care. This is a legal document that tells others what medical care they do or do not want in a time of crisis. The volunteer helps patients complete documents, witnesses the signature, and makes copies of the document for all involved. To apply, email [email protected].

Help Families Get The Clothes They Need. The United Way’s new Mobile Community Closet will be distributing clothing at the Community Health and Resource Fair at St. Bernard’s Parish in Abbotsford on April 11. Two volunteer shifts are available: 11:20 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 2:30-5:30 p.m. Go to https://www.unitedwaymc.org/volunteer-opportunity-mobile-closet-abbotsford to sign up.

Advocate For Disaster Victims. Connect directly with people affected by disasters and help them take the next steps in their recovery journey. Do You Like Games? Vintage Game Night is returning to the Marathon County Historical Society, and volunteers are needed to make it a success. Vintage Game Night will take place every first Friday of the month at roughly 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Ages 15+. Must be able to climb stairs. The Children’s Imaginarium requests donations for their STEM programming: white paper (legal and standard sizes), construction paper, children’s scissors, crayons, colored pencils, glue, glue guns/sticks, pencils, markers, colored duct tape. Blankets Needed. Consider donating comfort blankets (lap or throw size) and/or comfort cloths (roughly 4″x 5″) for patients at the Marshfield Clinic- Weston. You can drop off donations with a volunteer at Door 4, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Mark items “Volunteer Services” and include your name and address so we can send a thank you.
