Your letters: Dishonesty in Wausau mayoral race outlandish

Claims in favor of and against candidates running for office are to be expected, but the current mayoral race in Wausau is becoming dishonest.

A recent mailbox drop suggests that Doug Diny’s opponent, Katie Rosenberg, was somehow responsible for the disappearance of Wausau Insurance and Wausau Papers from the local business scene. That’s either a mistake or an untruth. The mailer comes from Wisconsinites for Liberty Fund, Pewaukee, Wisconsin, and also suggests that Amazon’s distribution center was to be built in Wausau but chose Weston instead.

No matter what you think of your opponent’s qualifications, your criticism should at least be accurate.
