WAUSAU – An innovative, new program that touts itself as a cornerstone for business discourse, entrepreneurial spirit and community celebration will air for the first time in April on Bull Falls Radio 98.9 FM. It will also be available on Alexa, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

“The Wausau Business Show” will be led by Paul Grinsel and Ryan Gallagher of Rocket Industrial and feature in-depth interviews with key figures from
the local and national business, sports and entertainment sectors, thought leaders, and trailblazers who shape Wausau.

It will air from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. April 6, and subsequent Saturdays thereafter.

“Contributing to Wausau through this show is an honor and a privilege. We also want to make it fun,” Gallagher said in a news release.

Gallagher, known to many as “Bruce Kelly” from his Wausau West High School days on WIFC in the late 90s has returned to his roots in Wausau, bringing with him an unparalleled breadth of broadcasting experience.

Alongside him, Grinsel shares an equally impressive career in business; and together they now hold leadership positions at Rocket Industrial, a national packaging company based in Wausau.

“We’re here to spotlight the achievements, challenges and stories of those making a difference,” Grinsel said.

The show kicks off with Miss America, Grace Stanke. Subsequent episodes will include Jim Waldron, president of Wausau Tile, and Sean Wright, executive director of The Grand Theater.

The show also will feature segments such as “The Mobile Microphone” to get “The Beat on The Street” at various places – like the 400 Block and Granite Peak Ski Area; “Wausau Business Rumors”; and calls to companies like Red Lobster.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the show’s earnings will benefit The Marathon County Fund at The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin.
