Part of Wausau’s Stewart Avenue to temporarily close April 16

WAUSAU – Reconstruction of Stewart Avenue between 48th and 72nd avenues will begin April 16, the city of Wausau announced today.

Phase I of the project will include a 12-day closure of Stewart Avenue near 72nd Avenue. Traffic closures and lane restrictions will continue for the duration of the project.

Traffic detours will be posted.
