Wausau Pilot & Review

EAU CLAIRE – Eau Claire North scored six times in the bottom of the seventh inning to erase a five-run deficit and defeat Wausau East 11-10 in a nonconference baseball game Saturday at Carson Park.

Logan Hesselman singled home the winning run to complete the improbable comeback for Eau Claire North (4-3).

Chase Watkins hit a grand slam home run for the Huskies in the third inning to put North up 5-4 before Wausau East (2-3) stormed back with six runs over the final four innings to take a 10-5 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh.

Jack Barthels and Ryan Rodemeier each had two hits for Wausau East.

Wausau East will host Adams-Friendship for a nonconference game Monday at 4:30 p.m.
