Drivers in the Wausau area should expect low visibility and use headlights on the morning commute, with locally dense fog to start the morning.
As of 4 a.m. fog had become dense over parts of central and northeast Wisconsin, reducing visibility as low as a quarter mile, according to the National Weather Service. Some fog could persist well into the morning.
