Route 51 features Stockbridge-Munsee president

Wausau, Wis. ─ Thursday, June 29 at 10 a.m., Route 51 welcomes Shannon Holsey, president of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans.

Glen Moberg will guide a wide-ranging discussion about the state of Wisconsin’s 12 federally recognized tribes. Holsey was the selected by the Great Lakes Inter-tribal Council to deliver the 2017 State of the Tribes address to the state legislature in April.

Route 51, Wisconsin Public Radio’s Wausau regional talk show, can be heard from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursdays on the Ideas Network stations 91.9 WLBL Wausau, AM 930 Auburndale/Stevens Point, 99.1 Stevens Point, 100.9 Marshfield, 90.3 WHBM Park Falls, 89.1 WHAA Adams/Wisconsin Rapids, HD 90.9-3 WHRM and 89.9 WHSF Rhinelander/Eagle River.
