Library teaches how to turn tomatoes into tasty salsa

MOSINEE – As the summer growing season starts to wrap up, visit the Marathon County Public Library to learn how to turn some of your plump, juicy tomatoes into delicious salsa. 

MCPL will offer an informational presentation on tomatoes and making salsa from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Mosinee Branch Library, 123 Main St., Mosinee.

Jackie Carattini, family living agent with Marathon County UW-Extension, will present this introductory lesson on how to make different salsas using fresh tomatoes.
