Seniors at Mountain Terrace in Wausau on Saturday hosted local first responders to thank them for their service.
During the program, which included speeches by Sen. Jerry Petrowski and Everest Metro Police Chief Wally Sparks, residents at the assisted living facility presented emergency crews more than 20 handmade quilts.
Dozens of people attended the event.
