TOWN OF PELICAN — A 26-year-old man died Thursday when his motorcycle collided with a pickup in the town of Pelican, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Department.
Police identify the man as Charles S. Eye of Rhinelander.
An initial investigation shows Eye was headed east when his motorcycle veered into the westbound lane, striking an oncoming vehicle. The crash was reported at 3:41 p.m., police said.
Eye was transported by helicopter to a hospital where he later died, according to police.
