TOWN OF JOHNSON — A two-vehicle crash Saturday in the town of Johnson has left one person dead and four people injured, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash was reported just after 10 a.m. and happened at the intersection of Hwy. E and Hwy. A. The town of Johnson is in the northwestern part of Marathon County, south of Athens.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a car and minivan, both with severe damage, off the roadway in the northwest corner of the injuries. One person died and four people suffered injuries that did not appear life threatening.
The crash is under investigation. No names have been released.
